The results of the French revolution were major. It led to the end of monarchy, the end of many wars, it increased power of the nation state, it had spread ideas around Europe, the establishment of human rights was created and the development of republics and democracies. Therefore, we think that the french revolution was a success because there was many events that lasted long after the revolution ended; such as the effects on other countries and societies. It is an intellectual movement driven by reason. This means that the people were free and they can roam around in their new laws. The French revolution had a lasting impact on the world. This is because French were rebelling their government. When other countries were in the same situation as french people, they started to rebel as well. This created a chain effect on revolutions occurring, which lead to a successful revolution.
