This is the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen. This declaration explains a list of rights, such as freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly and separation of powers. It had a big significance on the french revolution because it recognised the rights and liberty of individuals. It acknowledged values of liberty and equality before law. This declaration was written by Marquis de Lafayette and Honore Gabriel Riqueti, comte de Mirabeau.
